Data Migration Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall planning, coordination, and execution of all data migration activities for the project.
• Manage the end-to-end data migration lifecycle, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Oversee data migration teams to ensure smooth execution, quality, and timely delivery.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, governance, security, and compliance throughout the migration process.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders, business users, technical teams, and the Authority to resolve migration-related issues and dependencies.
• Monitor migration progress, risks, and deliverables to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Support testing, validation, reconciliation, and cutover activities related to migrated data.
• Provide leadership and guidance to migration team members and ensure adherence to best practices and standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience managing data migration projects of similar scope, scale, and complexity, preferably for finance ERP or cloud-based ERP implementations.
• Experience leading at least 1 end-to-end data migration project in the capacity of Data Migration Lead.
• Strong hands-on understanding of ETL processes, data mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation activities.
• Proven experience leading teams through the full data migration lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, data security, and compliance requirements in enterprise environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and project stakeholders in complex enterprise environments.
