About the Role:

  • Work with APIs, SFTP, middleware, and integration workflows to support automated data feeds and system-to-system transfers.
  • Collaborate with legal operations, finance, IT, outside counsel, vendors, and implementation partners throughout the migration lifecycle.
  • Maintain documentation to ensure secure, auditable, and compliant data migration processes.
  • Develop strong knowledge of legal operations data, including matters, invoices, vendors, timekeepers, budgets, accruals, and related metadata.

You're a fit for the role if your background includes:

  • 3 to 4 years of experience planning and executing data migrations, including data extraction, transformation, cleaning, validation, loading, and reconciliation.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in writing SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
  • Experience working with relational databases and structured datasets.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, formulas, data validation, and large-file handling.
  • Experience preparing and validating CSV, Excel, XML, or similar structured file formats.

  • Experience coordinating with technical and business stakeholders in client-facing environments.
  • Strong communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to troubleshoot migration errors and ensure accurate reconciliation of source and target systems.
