Product Analyst (Data Modernization)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Product Analyst to support data modernization initiatives within a lending solutions environment. This role focuses on ensuring the successful transition of data pipelines from legacy systems to modern platforms, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data products.

Key Responsibilities

• Test and validate data pipelines modernized from legacy systems to modern platforms (AWS & Data Vault 2.0)
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  
• Translate business processes into clear and testable data requirements
  
• Partner with developers and business users to ensure solutions meet organizational needs
  
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
  
• Support backlog grooming and prioritization with the Product Owner
  
• Contribute to data quality, governance, and observability initiatives
  
• Facilitate demos and gather user feedback
  
• Investigate and resolve incidents as needed
  
• Ensure high-quality delivery prior to product releases
  

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Marketing, Commerce, or equivalent experience
  
• 4–6+ years of experience in data/analytics or Agile environments
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  
• Experience using tools such as JIRA (or similar)
  
• Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  
• Exposure to SQL, Python, R, Power BI, AWS Glue, or Redshift
  
• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
  
• Strong attention to detail and product quality
  
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  

Required Experience

• 5–10 years as a Product or Business Analyst
  
• Experience on full-stack or data-focused teams
  
• Familiarity with financial services systems
  
• Experience testing and validating data pipelines into enterprise data warehouses
  
• Knowledge of modern data warehousing and observability tools (e.g., DataHub, dbt)
  

Nice to Have

• Experience within financial institutions
