Job Summary**
As an SAP Data Migration specialist at Hitachi, Ltd., you will be responsible for planning, executing, and validating data migration activities for SAP implementations and upgrades, ensuring data integrity and successful system transitions.
Job Responsibilities**
* Analyze source system data and define data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) strategies for SAP.
* Develop and implement data migration programs, scripts, and tools using SAP Data Services, LSMW, or other relevant technologies.
* Collaborate with functional and technical teams to identify data requirements, map data fields, and resolve data discrepancies.
* Perform data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of migrated data.
* Execute mock data migrations and support user acceptance testing (UAT) activities.
* Document data migration processes, procedures, and technical specifications.
* Provide expertise and support during hypercare and post-go-live phases for data-related issues.
* Adhere to project timelines and deliverables, communicating progress and potential risks effectively.
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP data migration projects.
* Proven expertise in SAP ECC or S/4HANA data migration tools (e.g., SAP Data Services, LSMW, LTMC).
* Strong understanding of various SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, SD, MM, PP) and their data structures.
* Proficiency in SQL and experience with database systems.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience with large-scale enterprise data migration projects is highly desirable.
