Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP Master Data Migration Specialist with strong expertise in migrating External Master Data and Production Master Data. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP data migration tools, ALE/IDoc integration, Business Partner (BP) & CVI processes, and end-to-end SAP implementation projects. The role involves planning, executing, validating, and supporting data migration activities while collaborating with technical and business teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end migration of External Master Data and Production Master Data, including planning, execution, validation, and cutover.

  • Develop and execute migration solutions using LSMW, BAPI, BDC, and flat-file interfaces.

  • Perform high-volume data migration with performance optimization techniques.

  • Configure and troubleshoot ALE/IDoc integration, including RFCs, Ports, Partner Profiles, Message Types, and IDoc Types.

  • Develop and enhance standard/custom IDocs, implement Change Pointer methodology, manage NACE configuration, and resolve IDoc errors.

  • Handle Business Partner (BP) and Customer Vendor Integration (CVI) activities, ensuring synchronization of master data.

  • Work closely with MM, SD, FI, and CO modules to maintain data consistency across business processes.

  • Support interface development using Web Services, APIs, and IDocs.

  • Perform enhancements using BADIs, User Exits, and Customer Exits where required.

  • Prepare migration documentation, technical specifications, and status reports.

  • Execute Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, and coordinate UAT with business users.

  • Participate in SAP implementation and rollout projects, providing hands-on support throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Communicate project progress, risks, and mitigation plans while supporting knowledge transfer activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • 5–10 years of hands-on SAP experience with strong expertise in Master Data Migration.

  • Practical experience with LSMW, BAPI, BDC, ALE/IDoc, Business Partner (BP), and CVI.

  • Good understanding of SAP MM, SD, FI, and CO modules and their integration.

  • Experience in at least one full end-to-end SAP implementation; rollout project experience is an advantage.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
