Job Description (JD):
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead client onboarding and migration initiatives for on-premises to cloud transformation programs. The role involves managing cross-functional onboarding and migration teams, coordinating with customers and technical stakeholders, and ensuring successful execution of cloud migration projects within timelines and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end client onboarding and cloud migration programs.
- Coordinate with customers, solution architects, infrastructure, security, and migration teams.
- Drive planning, tracking, risk management, and execution of migration activities.
- Lead onboarding teams responsible for discovery, assessment, dependency mapping, and migration scheduling.
- Ensure smooth transition of on-premises workloads to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Conduct stakeholder communication, status reporting, and governance reviews.
- Manage escalations, resource planning, and delivery milestones.
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and operational standards during migration.
Required Experience
- 8–15 years of overall IT experience with 4+ years in project/program management.
- Experience managing cloud migration or infrastructure transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of data center migration, server/application migration, and cloud onboarding processes.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of migration methodologies, cutover planning, and coordination across technical teams.
- Excellent client communication and stakeholder management skills.
- PMP, Scrum Master, or cloud certifications preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in enterprise infrastructure or managed services environments.
- Familiarity with migration tools, ITIL processes, and governance frameworks.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and parallel migration waves.
